UNITED KINGDOM - Developed by music educators, Piano Suite is a real teaching tool for learning to play piano no matter what your age! With a full compliment of customizable and expandable tools Piano Suite will guide you into the rewarding world of making your own music. Even if you already play piano you can benefit from the in-depth interactive theory lessons, and the large musical repertoire to extend your skills, and learn your favorite music easily.

Piano Player is the heart of the program, guiding you through over 400 music pieces (100 in the Basic Edition), ranging from Classical to Contemporary. Piano Player will help you through the learning process with the help of an interactive voice tutor and provide continuous feedback on your play until you master the piece.

To begin, simply select Piano Player from the Main screen, and the Song Setup screen will appear. Song Setup allows you to select a musical piece from the Piano Suite library of music and to choose settings for font size, hand position and the metronome.

The Piano Player screen displays the arrangement which was selected from the Song Setup screen. From here you can choose the evaluation method you will use to practice the piece. Settings made in the Song Setup screen can also be easily altered using the tool bar located above the virtual keyboard.

Repeat the pattern of notes the computer plays, using the MIDI keyboard. The computer can choose random notes, or follow the notes in a song. It will start with a single note, and add another note to the pattern each time you repeat the tune correctly. Music Concentration quizzes students on music symbol recognition in this familiar flash card game.

Piano Suite also tracks students' progress and can also produce assessment summary reports to see progress. Virtually everything can be customized to suit your style, even choosing which animated characters appear as you learn! Teacher's settings help to implement Piano Suite into a classroom or laboratory setting.
